Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager (VoIP) to own the full sales cycle—prospecting, demos, solution scoping, proposals, negotiation, and account growth. You’ll manage and expand a book of business, collaborating closely with engineering and support to ensure customer success. This is a remote role with the ability to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads for SIP trunks, DID numbers, hosted PBX/UCaaS, and call-center solutions.
- Run discovery, demos, and solution proposals tailored to customer needs and compliance requirements.
- Own a pipeline, forecast accurately, and deliver against monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Manage renewals, expansions, and upsells to drive retention and net revenue growth.
- Prepare quotes and contracts; coordinate with operations for onboarding, number porting (LNP), and provisioning.
- Maintain CRM hygiene (activities, notes, deal stages) and produce actionable reporting.
- Represent ILLYVOIP at virtual and on-site events; travel as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in B2B sales—ideally VoIP/telecom, UCaaS/CPaaS, or related SaaS.
- Working knowledge of VoIP concepts (SIP, DID, SIP trunking, hosted PBX) and customer use cases.
- Strong communication, discovery, and negotiation skills; comfortable running demos and proposals.
- Hands-on with a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce) and basic KPI reporting.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
