Fraud Control

Set clear limits. Stay in control.

Manage destination policies, number-prefix rules and maximum outbound call rates from your IllyVoIP account.

Choose the traffic
your account can handle.

Define boundaries that fit your destinations and calling requirements.

Country policies

Choose an allowlist or blocklist policy for the channel you are configuring.

Prefix rules

Use number prefixes for more precise control. Outbound prefix rules take precedence over country selections.

Maximum call rate

Set a maximum price per minute for outbound calls. Calls above that sell rate are blocked.

How it works

A policy for
each channel.

Open Settings → Voice → Fraud control and review each channel before saving.

Define the intended reach

Identify the destinations your calling and messaging workflows actually need.

Choose the policy

Select whether to block selected countries or allow only selected countries. Review the matching list carefully.

Refine the rules

Check optional prefix rules and the maximum outbound call price per minute. Review incoming caller restrictions separately.

Test permitted traffic

After an authorized change, test the intended workflows and review unexpected failures before expanding traffic.

Understand the limits
before setting them.

Use these controls alongside account security and regular activity review.

Price per minute, not total spend
The maximum call price is a rate threshold. It is not a daily budget, a per-call total or a limit on call duration.
Platform-enforced blocks
Administrator-enforced country blocks cannot be removed or enabled through the account’s Fraud Control settings.
Separate channel policies
Outbound voice, SMS and incoming caller rules have separate controls. Do not assume a change to one also updates the others.
Access still matters
Destination restrictions do not replace careful credential handling or two-step verification. Review account security

A few useful
details.

Ask our team
What is the difference between an allowlist and a blocklist?+

An allowlist permits only the selected countries. A blocklist prevents traffic to the selected countries. Review additional prefix rules and any administrator-enforced restrictions.

Does a maximum rate cap my total bill?+

No. The setting blocks outbound calls above the chosen sell rate per minute. Total cost also depends on traffic, duration, billing increments and other services.

Can these settings guarantee that fraud will never occur?+

No. They provide configurable traffic restrictions. Combine them with appropriate account access, credential protection and ongoing activity review.
