Work through an assigned campaign in the IllyVoIP app

Open an assigned IllyVoIP campaign, check line readiness, use Power or Predictive controls and save outcomes before continuing.

The IllyVoIP app lets an authorized agent work through an assigned campaign. Check the campaign’s mode before starting: Power Dialer and Predictive Dialer use different readiness controls. Starting work can place real chargeable calls, so finish the preparation first.

These steps cover the Android app controls in version 1.0.46, build 272. Use your own account and the permissions assigned to it. Other platforms or releases can have different controls.

1. Open the intended campaign

  1. Open the app’s Auto Dialer workspace and select the assigned campaign you intend to work on.
  2. Check its name, mode, current status and available-contact information. A similar campaign name is not enough to identify the correct list.
  3. Read the campaign script and your team’s rules for outcomes and callbacks.
  4. Check Line ready or the displayed line-unavailable reason. Finish microphone and audio checks before declaring yourself available.

Campaign assignment and actual calling readiness are different. If the campaign is absent, ask the account owner to check access and assignment; do not create a duplicate campaign or import the list again. Account balance, destination restrictions and campaign rules still apply.

2. Work a Power Dialer campaign

  1. With the line ready and any earlier wrap-up completed, choose the offered Power Dialer start action.
  2. Allow the workspace to claim its next contact and follow the current call state. Do not manually call the same number from another screen while the campaign is claiming it.
  3. Use the loaded script and confirm the contact before adding notes.
  4. After the call, select the required outcome and save the wrap-up before the next contact proceeds.

The Power Dialer can continue after each saved wrap-up until you stop it. Do not assume Start means exactly one isolated call. Use the offered Stop action when you need to stop progression, and check the displayed state. Stopping campaign progression and ending an active call are different decisions.

3. Work a Predictive Dialer campaign

  1. Check that this is the intended Predictive campaign and that the current workspace is ready.
  2. Select Ready only when you can handle an offered conversation.
  3. Stay available with the app, network and audio working. Follow the current assignment rather than dialing campaign contacts independently.
  4. Use Not ready when you need to stop receiving new work, then check the resulting state.

If the app says session ownership has changed or asks you to refresh the workspace, refresh and review the new state before selecting Ready again. Two devices signed into the same agent should not be treated as two independent agents. Do not repeatedly override a state you have not read.

4. Complete the outcome and any callback

  1. Read the final call state and select the outcome that accurately describes the conversation.
  2. Provide the callback date or other information required by the chosen outcome. Check the displayed time before saving.
  3. Save the wrap-up once and wait for confirmation.
  4. If a response is uncertain, refresh the campaign state and inspect the contact result before resubmitting or claiming another contact.

A note is useful context but is not automatically the required campaign disposition. Likewise, an appointment and the campaign’s callback decision are not interchangeable merely because both mention a later date. Use the control associated with the task you intend to complete.

5. Leave the workspace deliberately

Before a break, stop Power Dialer progression or select Not ready in the Predictive workflow, as appropriate. Resolve any active call and required wrap-up, then verify the current state. Merely switching apps is not a reliable substitute for this sequence.

If Stop or a readiness change cannot be confirmed because of a network error, keep the uncertainty visible. Reconnect and read the campaign state before starting again. Avoid restarting the campaign from another device as a shortcut; the original contact or session may still be active.

When to ask for help

Give the account owner or Support the campaign reference, mode, incident time, displayed line/readiness state and the exact point where work stopped. Include a public call reference where available, without exporting the entire contact list. Owner-level campaign creation, pacing and list management remain separate from these agent steps.
