If a phone number needs corrected verification information, use its verification screen to review the requested details and documents. Requirements vary by number and customer type. Follow the fields and feedback shown for that number rather than applying a generic document checklist.
These steps follow the Android app in version 1.0.46, build 272. Use your own account and the permissions assigned to it; other installed releases can have different controls.
1. Open the affected number and read its status
- Open your phone numbers and select the exact number needing attention.
- Open its verification or regulation details. Read the current status and any reason for correction.
- Check whether the screen allows resubmission. If it does not, use Support or the offered next step instead of repeatedly uploading files.
- Confirm whether you are submitting for a person or company and gather the information appropriate to that selection.
Do not assume a number is ready to receive calls simply because documents were previously uploaded. Submission, review, approval and the number’s service state are separate checkpoints. Keep any existing activation or review notice until the request is resolved.
2. Correct the details requested on screen
Review the customer name and any company fields. For address information, use the actual required street, building, postal code and city fields. If address details are required, or you have begun entering an address, complete the applicable fields rather than leaving an inconsistent partial address.
- Read the accepted locality or address guidance displayed for this number.
- Correct spelling and identifiers so they match the supporting document where required.
- Provide nationality, identity or date information only in the relevant fields shown.
- Remove accidental spaces or incomplete values and resolve the screen’s validation messages.
A document from the wrong locality may not satisfy a number’s requirements even if it is readable. Do not change an address to an invented local address to bypass a requirement. Ask Support if the displayed requirement does not match your situation.
3. Replace or add the appropriate documents
Read each document label and requested count. Use the accepted file picker and its current limits as the authority. Choose complete, legible documents with the required information visible. Avoid cropped edges, unreadable scans and password-protected files unless the upload instructions explicitly support them.
- Match each attachment to the requirement it supports.
- Check the selected filename and preview where available before submitting.
- Remove an accidentally selected or unrelated file.
- Keep identity documents in the verification workflow; do not place them in article comments, public links or ordinary screenshots.
The app’s requirements are dynamic. This guide does not impose a fixed identity-document count or file-size limit on every number. If a required document cannot be supplied, explain the situation through the appropriate support channel rather than filling the slot with an unrelated image.
4. Submit the corrected information once
- Review the selected number, customer type, corrected fields and attachments together.
- Use the offered resubmission action and wait for its result.
- If validation identifies a field, correct that field and review the request again.
- After a successful submission, reopen the number and inspect the latest review state.
A submission confirmation means the request was accepted for processing; it does not guarantee regulatory approval. If connectivity fails or the outcome is unclear, check the number’s current state before repeating the upload. Do not assume that an interrupted screen means the server received nothing.
5. Follow the review and service state
Watch for additional feedback and respond with the specific correction requested. Keep a private record of the submission time and number reference. When verification is accepted, check the number’s actual service status and destination before expecting incoming calls to work. Verification does not configure a destination on its own.
If the status remains unclear, contact Support with the number reference, submission time and visible feedback. Refer to the already submitted documents instead of attaching extra copies unnecessarily. Never send a password or account token to explain a document-review problem.
