→Where do I find my connection details?
Open SIP Lines in the portal. Use the credentials for the SIP line you intend to connect and expand Technical endpoints for current server, transport and codec information. Keep passwords private.
Which regional server should I use?
The portal lists Germany, United States and Singapore endpoints. Match the hostname to the region chosen for your setup. Use the hostname, rather than an IP address, for TLS or WSS connections.
How do signaling and audio settings differ?
SIP over TLS protects signaling. Call audio has a separate setting: Standard RTP, SDES-SRTP or DTLS-SRTP. Match the SIP line’s audio mode to your device. Standard RTP is not encrypted; enabling TLS alone does not select an encrypted audio mode.
Check the result
What if authentication keeps failing?
Check the SIP username, authentication method, password and server against the selected line. A 401 or 407 challenge can be part of normal authentication; repeated failures need the full sequence and response text to diagnose.
What if a call connects with no audio?
Compare the device’s audio mode with the SIP line setting and check the selected audio devices. For a PBX or SIP phone, have your administrator review the media path and network configuration. Include whether the issue affects one or both directions when asking for help.
Does registering a device route incoming calls to it?
Configure the phone number’s incoming destination separately. Registration establishes the device connection; the number’s route determines where an incoming call is sent.
